10-DE Diesel Hydraulic Power Pack
More Power to Run Several Splitters at Once
When a splitting job grows from one hole to a whole line of them, a single splitter stops being enough. Crews want two, three or more splitters working together, and that needs a power pack with real capacity behind it. The 10-DE Diesel Hydraulic Power Pack is made for this step up. It runs on diesel, so you can set it down wherever the work is, and it has the output to keep several splitters busy at the same time.
It is compact, easy to reposition, and built to handle high hydraulic pressure for long working hours. Here is what it offers and how it fits into your setup.

What Is the 10-DE, Really?
Think of the power pack as the engine room of your splitting setup. A diesel engine drives a hydraulic pump, the pump sends oil at high pressure through the hoses, and that pressure is what pushes the splitter wedges apart. The 10-DE Diesel Power Pack has a stronger engine than the 7-DE, which gives it the reserve needed to feed more than one splitter without losing pace.

How the Power Pack Works
With the engine running, the pump draws oil from the tank and pushes it through the hoses to each splitter. When you operate the controls, the oil drives the wedge forward and the rock cracks open. When you release, the oil flows back to the tank and the wedge retracts. Put simply, the 10-DE Hydraulic Power Pack converts engine power into the hydraulic pressure that does the splitting.
A normal setup looks like this:
- Place the power pack on firm, level ground close to the work area.
- Check the fuel and hydraulic oil levels.
- Connect the hoses to the splitters and make sure every coupling is locked.
- Start the engine and operate the controls to run the splitters.
One tip: lay the hoses out neatly and keep them clear of walkways. With several splitters running, tidy hose runs make the site safer and easier to manage.
Where You Can Use It
The 10-DE is a good choice wherever more than one splitter needs to work away from mains power. As a 10-DE Multi Tool Power Pack, it can feed several hydraulic rock splitters at once, so a crew can split along a whole line of holes instead of waiting on one splitter. That helps on quarry faces, long trenches, slab removal and large demolition jobs.
Why More Capacity Makes Sense
Splitting one hole at a time is slow. With several splitters running off one power pack, holes open in parallel and the whole line comes apart much faster. You also save on equipment, since one power pack replaces several smaller ones.
That helps most on larger jobs, where time on site is the main cost.
Prepare Before You Begin
A few minutes of preparation prevents most problems on site:
Safety and Maintenance
Regular care keeps the power pack dependable, job after job.
Compact Enough to Move Around
At 130 to 150 kg and 1200 mm long, the 10-DE is still easy to reposition compared with a large stationary unit. It takes up little space near the work face, and you can shift it along as the splitting line moves. Setting up at a new spot takes minutes, not hours.
Who Uses the 10-DE?
Buying a Power Pack: What to Check
If you are looking for a 10-DE Power Pack Supplier, ask for the engine rating, the maximum working pressure and the number of splitters the unit can run at once. It also helps to confirm which splitter models it suits, and whether spare hoses, couplings and service support are available. A good match between the power pack and your splitters keeps the whole system dependable.
